The Gunter Wilhelm 11-piece Executive Chef set is the ideal set for the home owner or professional chef. It includes 1 honing steel, a 10-inch chef knife, butchers cleaver, a 6 inch utility knife, Asian Cleaver, paring knife, Santoku knife, offset bread, meat carver and meat fork. In the beginning, knives were made from High Carbon steel. This was because High Carbon Steel was easy to sharpen and held an edge really well.
